Dominican Tradition

St. Pius was founded as a Dominican parish in 1918, and the school continues to carry on this rich Dominincan traidition nearly one-hundred years later. Since 2004, the Dominincan Sisters of St. Cecilia have served as faculty members helping to instill the four Dominican pillars: spreading the Gospel, using study as a means to search for Truth, forming faith through prayer, and uniting the community in a common mission.
