Curriculum and Technology

Because of our Dominican heritage, St. Pius V School upholds God's truth.  The guiding principle of our academic program is founded on the person and teachings of Jesus Christ.  We believe that God manifests Himself through creation and Divine Revelation and that grace builds on nature.  We encourages students to strive for excellence in all academic work and to develop their talents, furthering the Gospel message in all areas of life.

Our academic program includes the following subject areas: Religion, Language Arts, Math, Social Studies, Science, Physical Education, Music, Art, Technology, and World Language (Spanish).  In grades 6, 7, and 8, the school offers advanced courses in Literature and Math.

To enhance our students' learning experience, St. Pius V School incorporates the use of technology into into all educational areas: instruction, assessment, administration and management.  We use the Google Cloud Platform and Apple Technology for students, faculty, and staff, and important information regarding school activities and student progress are communicated through RenWeb.  Additionally, we provide Chromebooks for students, which teachers utilize during classes for academic support programs, enhanced lessons, and reinforcement of skills.
