St. Pius V School Book Fair

St. Pius V School students and families enjoyed a wonderful Book Fair on Friday of Reading Week. Thanks to the efforts of the Beyer and Herreid families, along with Dr. Frank, over 1,400 new and gently used books were available for purchase. The selection ranged from Dr. Seuss books for St. Pius V School’s earliest readers to the works of J.R.R. Tolkien for more advanced readers in middle school, with a focus on classic works with enduring literary merit. Faculty and staff were encouraged to name their favorite books, which were then labelled as “Teacher’s Favorites” in the displays. Students had the opportunity to shop with their families before and after school, as well as with their classmates during the school day. Middle school students accompanied their PreK, Kindergarten, and 1st Grade buddies to the book fair. After perusing the tables and making their selections, the buddy pairs enjoyed spending time reading their new books together. St. Pius V School is so grateful to all contributors who made the Book Fair a success!
