Our Campus is Closed, Our Learning Continues

The COVID-19 epidemic presents a new and exciting challenge for us to educate our students from a distance. Although our campus is closed, every student continues to learn, and our staff remains all hands on deck to adapt quickly to the rapidly changing landscape.

During these unprecedented times, St. Pius V School remains committed to providing an education to our students that is passionately Catholic, academically excellent, and distinctly Dominican. We are focusing on these core values...

  1. Growing our families' faith
  2. Providing rigorous instruction via distance learning
  3. Building school community virtually

...and want to highlight a few initiatives our school and parish is implementing to achieve these goals.

  • St. Pius V Church is live streaming Mass daily, at 10 AM on Sundays, 9 AM on Saturdays, and 12 PM Monday through Friday.

  • Our school has started a virtual gratitude wall called SPV Kind. Click the link to see what people are saying about our school during the coronavirus crisis.

  • From March 23-March 27, we are hosting Firedog Family Week, a virtual spirit week for our students. Each day will feature opportunities for students to feel more connected as a school family.

Our 2020-2021 admission process will continue as normal, though all meetings with Sister Maria Francesca will be conducted online. To learn more about our admission process, please click here

We have been extremely edified by the support we have received from our St. Pius V Firedog Family in helping us remain at peace with the Lord and to trust in Him during this time. We are eager for the day when we can all return to our beloved school, and welcome each other with a big hug and a big smile! In the meanwhile, let us pray for one another!
