Outdoor Classroom

The 6th graders went on an exciting field trip to Outdoor Classroom in Yarmouth, Massachusetts last Monday! During the field trip, the 6th graders did fun team-building exercises such as balancing and rope swinging. They also learned basic survival skills like how to make a camp fire out of wood shavings and dead leaves. Along with that, they got to pick their own activity later in the day! The options for the activities were shark dissection, marine biology, and journaling. Let's read some comments from our 6th graders. "I really enjoyed the field journaling," said Lily. "I liked when we learned how to make fires," said Josh. They had lots of fun and came home winded!
