Cross Country 2025

One of the Fall sports at St. Pius V School is cross country. For those of you who don't know, cross country is a fun sport where students compete in long distance races against other schools. Cross country teaches stamina and good sportsmanship. This year, our school team won second place in their division. Nick, an eighth grader on the team, connected the sport with what we have been learning of the 7 Habits. "Begin with the end in mind is a habit that is used in cross country because you begin the race with the finish line in mind," he said. "It's fun to work as a team, but also as an individual."
