O Mary, we crown thee with blossoms today,
Queen of the Angels, Queen of the May!
Yesterday was a blessed day at St. Pius V School for so many reasons.
In the morning, we celebrated as five middle school students were received into the Church through the sacraments of Baptism and First Holy Communion.
In the afternoon, we celebrated the election of the first pope from the United States.
What a joyous day!
RIP Pope Francis and long live our new Holy Father Pope Leo XIV, the first American Pope to be elected! We watched history unfold in our 3rd grade classroom today! Lots of cheers and excitement all around!
So exciting to see the white smoke. Cheers erupted during middle school lunch!
We have been praying for the College of Cardinals as they gather in conclave to elect our new pope. 🙏
Do you think we will see white smoke today?
Come have a fun time with our soon-to-be 8th grade graduates!
Our middle school Student Council members completed their second day of service with Mary House's Monday Meal Kitchen yesterday. These Firedogs made us very proud as they diligently and compassionately served their neighbors with love!
Happy Teacher Appreciation Week! A huge thank you to the faculty and staff who make St. Pius V School such a loving environment for our students and families. And a special thank you to the PSO who has organized a week full of treats for our faculty and staff, including a visit from Cafe Modesto's coffee truck today!
These PreK artists posed beneath their fields of flowers and butterfly projects today. 👩🎨👨🎨💐🦋 All of our students love to explore their creativity through art!
Mark your calendars for the last Family Holy Hour of the year - May 15. Never miss a chance to adore the Blessed Sacrament (and listen to our student praise and worship band, Gloria Domino)!
God bless our second-grade students who received their First Holy Communion this Sunday!
Yesterday our 8th graders went across the street to Providence College for a field trip through FriarServe. Along with 8th graders from other local Catholic schools, they received a campus tour, including the newly dedicated Ben Mondor Center for Nursing and Health Sciences, and learned about investment from two professors in the School of Business.
